Building one of the world's largest salmon farms in a bucolic part of Maine is likely to raise a lot of interest from local residents.

"I think the level of engagement has been incredible,"Erik Heim, CEO of Norway-based Nordic Aquafarms, the company behind the project, told IntraFish Thursday. "We're putting a lot of effort into community engagement, but we wish it was more."
