Maine-based shellfish and whitefish supplier Bristol Seafood partnered with the Maine Technology Institute, and will invest nearly $5 million (€4 million) in its Portland, Maine processing facility over the next three years.
The investment is made possible through a grant from the Maine Technology Asset Fund and the company itself, according to Bristol Seafood.
The funding is expected to create 40 jobs and improve the processing facility as well as the Portland Fish Pier.
