A group owned by Jordan Mazzetta, a scion of one of the largest seafood suppliers in the United States, has acquired Morey’s Seafood Distribution business assets in Plymouth, Minnesota, from Rich Products.
Rich Products will retain the Morey’s brand name and the Morey’s Specialty Products Division in Motley, Minnesota. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Eddie M's, an entity that is part of his holding company Highwood Harbor, was created in order to purchase the Morey's asset, Mazzetta said.
