Norwegian feed producer Skretting has sold fish feed from its factory in northern Norway to salmon producers in Russia’s Murmansk region for several years.

And despite Russia's invasion of Ukraine, those deliveries haven't stop.

While Norway has not sold farmed salmon to Russia since the annexation of Crimea in 2014 and retaliatory sanctions placed on imports of food into Russia from Norway and other countries, fish feed has never been subject to the sanctions.

Skretting, the world's largest aquaculture feed producer, is wholly owned by Nutreco, which in turn is held by Dutch SHV.
