The salmon farming operations of Norway's Leroy Seafood Group harvested 36,756 metric tons of fish in the second quarter, down 5.5 percent on the same period in 2020, the company said.

Leroy’s farming segment comprises the group's three farming regions in Norway: Leroy Aurora located in Troms and Finnmark, Leroy Midt in Nordmore and Trondelag, and Leroy Sjotroll in the Vestland region.

The division's EBIT/kg climbed 93 percent to NOK 10.60 (€1/$1.20)/kg from NOK 5.50 (€0.52/$0.61)/kg in the second quarter of 2020.
