Norwegian salmon prices are down again this week, with sellers unable to match harvests to demand from buyers as the effects of the European holiday season play out.
One exporter told IntraFish that it is difficult to find buyers, adding there were scant supplies of salmon weighing over 6 kilos in the market on Friday.
Market sources indicate price declines of NOK 1 (€0.09/$0.11) for fish in the 3-4 kg and 4-5 kg weight classes.
