Denver-based seafood distributor Seattle Fish said it will stop purchasing Hawaiian seafood following alleged labor law abuses in the Hawaiian fishing industry brought forth by a recent Associated Press (AP) report pending reassurance from suppliers that their supply chain is free of labor abuse.
"We have been working to investigate the reports in order to understand what is actually taking place on the boats supplying the markets from which we buy," said the company following the report.
