From downsizing cans to avoiding sustainable tuna, the major tuna companies allegedly carried out multiple illegal practices to conspire and fix prices of canned tuna products, according to filed amended complaints in ongoing antitrust lawsuit cases.

Last week, dozens of plaintiffs, including Walmart and other major US supermarket chains, filed these new complaints alleging the defendants “developed a common agreement or understanding that they would follow the price increases that each issued … [and] exchanged information on their future pricing plans via telephone and other channels.”
