Thiraphong Chansiri, CEO of Thai Union Group, will run in the Virgin London Marathon on 23 April 2017 to raise funding for WWF-UK.
Thai Union has partnership agreements with WWF in many countries and is already funding work to improve fisheries and improve sustainability.
It is also working with WWF-UK to establish a tuna fishery improvement project (FIP) in the Indian Ocean.
Chansiri aims to raise a minimum THB 90,000 (€2,476/$2,630) in sponsorship.
