Nomad Foods, the owner of the Iglo and Findus brands in Europe, posted markedly improved Q4 and 2016 results, and is now feeling more confident to eye further acquisitions both in Europe and beyond.

The company’s strategy is clearly paying off, said CEO Stéfan Descheemaeker in a conference call discussing the results on Thursday, with the turnaround in operations now reaching a “tipping point."
