The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sent several warning letters for seafood last month.

The FDA sent a letter to Edmund Tsang, president of Canada-based seafood importer Bao International, on Jan. 30.

The FDA said it found "serious violations of the seafood Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulation" during its December inspections of the company's establishment, particularly in regards to the firm's "frozen breaded squid ring and tentacles and frozen seafood mix."
