The Department of Commerce said last week it will continue the duty on US shrimp imports from Vietnam following its analysis of the second full five-year sunset review of the antidumping duty (AD) order on certain frozen warmwater shrimp from Vietnam.

"We determine that revocation of the AD (anti-dumping) Order on certain frozen warmwater shrimp from Vietnam would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at weighted average margins up to 25.76 percent," said the department.

This decision went into effect on Monday.
