US per capita seafood consumption slipped slightly in 2020, according to new data released Thursday by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in an update to the agency's annual "Fisheries of the United States" report.

Per capita consumption fell from 19.3 pounds in 2019 to 19 pounds in 2020, the most recent figures supplied by NOAA.

The decline was led by a 3.3
