Tuesday was World Tuna Day and to mark the day, Thai Union-owned Chicken of the Sea put out an official holiday menu, a Facebook Live event and a tribute to tuna.
Parties to the Nauru Agreement (PNA) created World Tuna Day on May 2 in 2011 to honor international tuna fishing communities and conservation.
The top eight tuna recipes submitted to the Best of the Sea Recipe Challenge are on the Chicken of the Sea Official Mermaid World Tuna Day Menu, made available Tuesday on the Chicken of the Sea website.
