A tilapia ice cream named Daerrys  -- after its creators Dana and Terry -- won the gold prize at the Salon International de L’Agroalimentaire (SIAL) 2016 held in Pasay city, Manila, a biennial trade fair the food industry.

The tilapia-flavored ice cream is made of tilapia fillet, all purpose cream, condensed and fresh milk, chopped walnuts, and diced cheese, said the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development, adding the ice cream does not have a fishy smell or aftertaste.
