Spanish companies have not had a large presence in China, but they hope to change that with the right fish, the proper partners, and -- perhaps most importantly -- patience.
Spain's Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Environment (MAGRAMA) joined eight exhibiting Spanish companies the China Seafood and Fisheries Expo earlier this month, aiming to push awareness of the European country's products among Chinese consumers.
The companies belong to four different associations: Anfaco-Cecopesca, Apromar, Cepesca and Conxemar.
