Lent, one of the biggest seafood-selling times of the year, begins Wednesday, Feb. 18, and once again restaurants are gearing up by adding seafood to their menus.
The Red Robin Gourmet Burgers chain is so excited about its Lenten seafood offering that it has extended an invitation to Pope Francis to eat at Red Robin during the Lenten season. If His Holiness accepts and visits any US location between February 18 and April 2, Red Robin will offer its Wild Pacific Crab Cake Burger to guests for free on the remaining Fridays during Lent.
