UK retailer Waitrose launched a new television advert recently showcasing its seafood range and underscoring its commitment to Sustainable Seafood Coalition (SSC) labeling guidelines.
Beginning with shots of an Icelandic fishing vessel at sea, the advert opens with the retailer “guaranteeing” all its fish is responsibly sourced, while fine print at the bottom claims: “All Waitrose own label fish are responsibly sourced to Sustainable Seafood Coalition guidelines."

Waitrose is a founding member of the SSC, which has a goal to ensure all fish and seafood sold in the UK is from sustainable sources.
