Everyone knows seafood is good for the heart — and between Valentine’s Day, European Heart Failure Awareness Day and American Heart Month, springtime is a great time for restaurants and retailers to tout “hearty” seafood, according to marketing guru Jeff Engel.

Engel is senior vice president at retail marketing group Interactions — which teams up with retailers throughout Europe, the United States, Latin America, Asia and South America to hold promotions and events to boost sales — and he has tips on how to boost seafood sales during heart-centric holidays.
