Trio Fish Processing Machinery AS of Norway, which last year acquired 60% of the shares in fish pinboning machine inventor FTC Sweden AB, has spent several years developing technologies to remove pinbones from 'super fresh' fillets. This work has resulted in a new and patented method to remove the pinbones from salmon and trout fillets immediately after slaughter.
