Mike Urch recently visited a number of Danish seafood companies which are continuing to export successfully, despite the current shortage of domestic whitefish supplies and a record increase in pelagic prices F Uhrenholt Seafood Based in the middle of Denmark, on the island of Fyn, this seafood trading company moved into new offices in Middelfart in February.
In addition to seafood, F Uhrenholt also has meat and dairy divisions and the whole company is now all under the one roof.
Shrimp accounts for about 70% of F Uhrenholt Seafood's business, says Jann Dollerup Vig Jensen, who is now managing director of F Uhrenholt's seafood and meat divisions.
