The good news: Cod is experiencing "a very healthy growth," driven by nearly all channels.
The bad news: Full-service restaurants saw a nearly 3 percent decline in cod servings in the 12 months through March 2016 compared with the year prior, according to a recent report by UK-based Seafish and NPD Group.
Cod servings rose dramatically in the other categories, however, with pubs seeing a 9.1 percent increase in servings, and workplaces, colleges and universities seeing a more than 13 percent increase during the time frame.
