Frozen food giant Birds Eye is introducing gluten-free fish fingers into the UK market.
The product, made from 100 percent Alaska pollock fillet, is still breaded, but all wheat ingredients have been replaced with alternative flours - rice flour, gram flour and maize.
The fishfingers are Birds Eye's first gluten-free product.
The frozen food giant said the new product, made from 100% fish fillets, "provide the same quality as the iconic original, but all ingredients containing gluten, such as wheat flour, or gluten containing bread crumbs, have been replaced with alternative flours and starches".
