The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) thinks so — and it’s challenging American chefs to do just that in its new campaign, Swap Meat for Alaska Seafood, a national recipe contest scheduled to launch April 1.
Swap Meat encourages chefs to substitute one of the many Alaska seafood species for beef, pork and poultry in the dishes they prepare.
