A SYSTEM that automatically checks if gutted fish need further cleaning before packing has been launched.

Designed to eliminate the manual check of fish gutted in the company’s Gutmaster 1200 gutting machine, the Visiomaster from Danish manufacturer Kroma takes a picture of the belly area of the fish that has just been cleaned. Before the fish leaves the gutting machine the picture is analysed and a decision made on whether the fish is going to move on in the process or go to a manual gutting table.
