Former Leroy Seafood Sweden Managing Director Daniel Svensson says he expects seafood suppliers to the foodservice sector could be in for a rough ride over the next two years in the wake of the coronavirus health crisis, although he remains strongly upbeat about the longer term future.
"We might have a bump in the road for the next one or two years to come but I think the long-term perspective is a really, really bright future," Svensson told IntraFish.
Foodservice industries around the globe have largely shut down amid the global pandemic with authorities now grappling with the conundrum of how and when to ease lockdown restrictions and reopen economies.
