The US Commerce Department announced in January this year the launch of countervailing duty investigations on frozen warmwater shrimp from China and other six countries in response to a petition filed by the US Coalition of Gulf Shrimp Industries.
A preliminary decision was made in May, setting countervailing duties ranging from less than 1 percent to 62 percent.
