One of the leading boat building companies on show at this year’s Skipper Expo was Cork-based firm Fitzgerald Marine. Established more than 15 years ago, this company has evolved into one of Ireland’s leading manufacturers of GRP vessels for the commercial and the leisure sectors.
Fitzgerald Marine’s wide range of craft has become popular amongst inshore users due to the adaptability of the various hull designs for use as either work or leisure boats. The firm’s vessels on display at the Skipper Expo included an FM 21 open workboat, FM 18
open workboat with inboard 20hp Nanni diesel engine, a traditional design 8ft rowing punt and a Quicksilver 440 (4.4m)
