The first build is for Alistair Bruce and his sons Chaz and Martin of Fraserburgh. With an LOA of 19m and a 7m beam, this fully shelterdecked twin-rig trawler is based on a similar S C McAllister hull design as Reliance II. Plating of the hull is nearing completion after fabrication commenced in June.
Scheduled for completion in early 2010, Skipper Bruce’s new vessel will be powered by an electronic Caterpillar C 32 490kW main engine with a wide operating speed coupled to a Reintjes WAF 374 7.476:1
