In securing a number of orders for Doosan main and auxiliary engines that will be installed on a variety of new vessels under construction in the UK, Watermota has experienced a busy first quarter of 2009. This maintains the high level of demand which the Devon-based marine distributors experienced throughout last year, when they again supplied over 100 engines.
In addition to Doosan propulsion and generating engines, Watermota also supplies a full range of Dong-I gearboxes, power take offs and steering systems, Westerbeke engines and generating sets and JMP flexible impeller pumps, as well as being agents for the Cleopatra range of fast fishing and workboats.
