A THAMES estuary firm has developed an under 8m version of the well known Blyth 33 catamaran.
Chuter Marine Services of Dauntless Boatyard on Canvey Island has spent the past nine months developing the new catamaran and has taken its first order.
Proprietor of the firm Ray Chuter said the under 8m version had been developed in response to demand from fishermen for a smaller catamaran following the introduction of the new licence band. Its design was the result of close co-operation with fishermen and listening to what they wanted.
