CYGNUS Marine of Cornwall, England, has kept up its tradition of naming its faster hulls after winds by naming its latest Typhoon.
The new model, which is available between 33 to 38 ft. , follows closely on the Tornado 28 and Cyclone 30.
Cygnus says that the Typhoon combines the fine entry and sea kindly bow section of the Cyfish and the stability of the Cyclone hull form.
The foredeck and wheelhouse uses cored construction for strength, insulation and stiffness. By using integrated moulding in the hull, weight has also been substantially reduced, says the boat moulder.
