South West company BT Marine Propellers has moved into new premises at Swift Units, Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot, having increased its turnover fivefold in the past 18 months.
Andy Tudge formed BT Marine in 2000 and was later joined by business partner Chris Bassett. The firm has steadily grown since, supplying many of the UK's premier boat builders and similar companies worldwide, the partners explained.
It has evolved from a propeller repair and servicing facility to manufacturers of new propellers and shafts, but its previous premises were insufficient to handle the increasing amount of work.
