A PERUVIAN tuna purse seiner crew of 24 has been saved by transmissions from their Zunibal Tunabal tuna buoy after their vessel sank in a strong spring storm.
The crew of the 36.8 metre Isabel Victoria V, who sailed on February 9, had little time to brace themselves on April 2 for the onslaught of a fast-moving storm front sweeping towards the Peruvian coastline.
