Trawl design made easier

DIFTA'S trawl design computer software CadTrawl is now more user friendly as the Danish fisheries technology institute has up-dated it to run on Windows.

CadTrawl Version 2.0 is a major leap forward, says Difta's Ulrik Jes Hansen.

"The original CadTrawl, used by around 40 gear manufacturers world-wide, was designed using 1984/85 computer technology and language. Version 2.0 is even easier to use and we have already sold quite a few.

"Trawl makers choose CadTrawl because it is the only one that thinks and works like a net-maker," it is claimed.
