The Spanish tuna purse-seine fishing fleet, represented by the Organization of Producers Associated to Large Tuna Freezing Vessels (Opagac) will join the Tuna Traceability Declaration 2020 of the World Economic Forum.
The project is backed by companies, governments and different organizations to create a system of full traceability of the tuna fishing activity, support strategies focused on the sustainability of the stocks, and comply with working and social standards under the World Declaration of Human Rights across the tuna fishing sector.
