New on the SM Group stand were an interesting range of various combinations of colour radars, fishfinders and plotters.
Heading the line-up was the JRC NWU700 10in colour chartplotter, which uses C-Map CF95 cartography on a PCMCIA card and is compatible with JRC GPS 112 and DGPS 200 receivers.
Also on show and with a 10in screen was a new JRC fishfinder, the JFV-700.
For smaller boats, SMG introduced two units with 6.5in screens. These are the latest TFT screens, which are manufactured using a special 'twisted fibre' technique which gives an extremely clear picture, even when viewed from an angle and in bright sunlight.
