SCANMAR - the Norwegian fishing gear monitoring specialist - has worked closely with the skipper and owner of Remoy Viking to supply a complete trawl monitoring layout with a total of 32 gear sensors. There are three monitors in the wheelhouse.
Each of the three codends has a pair of HC4-M catch sensors, and the middle trawl has an HC GS-01 grid sensor to monitor the flow of water through the grid.
One of the outer trawls has an HC4-D1200 depth sensor and each of the three trawls has a headline-mounted HC4-SY symmetry sensor.
