Skippered by David and Iain Morgan, the Peterhead beam trawler Morning Dawn PD 359 recently became the first fishing vessel in the world to have the latest generation (MkV) of RoxAnn GD seabed classification system installed following close collaboration between two Aberdeen companies, reports David Linkie.
Designed to give accurate and easily interpreted realtime discrimination of seabed data and considerably cheaper than its predecessor, RoxAnn GD is manufactured by Sonavision and distributed exclusively in the UK and Ireland by Woodsons of Aberdeen.
