THE LORD Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire, Richard Marriott, presented the Queen's Award for Enterprise last week to Andrew How, MD of J Marr (Seafoods) Ltd of Hessle near Hull.
All the company's staff attended the handover ceremony to emphasise the team effort that had achieved a sales growth of 59% over the three year qualifying period for the award.
As an international fish trading company, J Marr (Seafoods) specialises in the sourcing, shipment and sale of frozen pelagic fish from the Atlantic and Pacific oceans to overseas markets mainly in Nigeria, West Africa, Ghana and Russia.
