Several Peterhead based boats changed owners this autumn. The 26 metre twin rig whitefish trawler Sharon Rose LH 317, built at Eyemouth three years ago by Coastal Marine Boatbuilders for John, Brydon and Gordon Moodie, has been renamed Starlight Rays PD 230 by new owner Skipper James Thores of Peterhead.
Powered by a 730kW Cat 3508B main engine, Starlight Rays has started her new career partnering Alex Baird's Starlight PD 786 (ex Paragon V).
With fitting out work on the twin rig steel trawler Fruitful Bough PD 109 progressing well at Macduff Shipyards Ltd, James West and partners have sold their previous boat of the same name to Portknockie Skipper Martin Miller.
