The twin-rig prawn freezer trawler Maracestina is the former Peterhead based Fair Morn PD 67, which Inverness skipper Ross Skinner bought earlier this year from David Milne of Peterhead.
Named after his daughters Maraili and Grace and wife Christina, Maracestina replaces Ross Skinner’s previous command, the 20m wooden-hulled twin-rig trawler Aquarius INS 1034, which was bought by Barra skipper Angus MacLeod.
Maracestina’s registration number is the same as the one that used to be on the 15.75m west coast-based prawn trawler Primrose INS 291, owned by Ross Skinner’s father William Skinner.
