Dutch pelagic and demersal fisheries company Parlevliet & Van der Plas (P&P) has completed its acquisition of French tuna company Compagnie Française du Thon Océanique (CFTO).
This follows the announcement in May 2016 that both companies had agreed on exclusive negotiations.
The transaction was closed on July 1, which also marks the date agreed by both companies for a change in management.
Diederik Parlevliet will become the new chairman of the board and Auke van de Kerk will become the new managing director of the company.
