SIX STALWARTS of the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen (RNMDSF) were honoured for their service at the Mission's biennial conference in Bournemouth.
Mission chairman Malcolm Cooke presented the Stanley Prize - a framed citation and clock - for outstanding achievement and service to Ann Jenkin of Newlyn. For the past three years Ann has been secretary to the Newlyn Fish Festival.
Mr Cooke said much of the increasing success of the Newlyn Fish Festival has been due to her "outstanding administration and support".
