As the biggest whitefish trawler to join the UK fleet for seven years, Our Lass II WY 261 is a highly significant vessel.
That Our Lass II, now fishing in the northern North Sea with a young, successful skipper and experienced crew, was designed and built in Yorkshire for Lockers Trawlers of Whitby, adds to the scale of the achievement.
Ordered at FISHING 2006 and delivered three months ahead of schedule, the 21.5m, fully shelterdecked Our Lass II was designed by S C McAllister and built at Whitby in eight months by Parkol Marine Engineering.
