THE NEW 15m trawler Ocean Star FR 894 landed her maiden trip from the North Sea prawn grounds into Fraserburgh earlier this week writes DAVID LINKIE.
Owned by Brian Tait and the TWE Fishing Company Ltd, Ocean Star is working through Caley Fisheries under Skipper Michael Clark.
She was built by Miller (Methil) to plans from Macduff Ship Design and is designed for twin rig trawling and midwater pair trawling.
Ocean Star is identical to Ocean Crest FR 317, which the Fife yard completed in March for the TWE Fishing Company.
