SEAFISH has appointed a new technology and training director to develop technical support to the fishing and seafood industry.
Paul Williams will head up a team of 46 in Seafish's technology and training division based in Hull, which includes the fisheries development centre and flume tank, and Kingfisher Information Services.
He takes over from John Tumilty, who has retired after 33 years with Seafish and its predecessor, the White Fish Authority (WFA).
Paul Williams joins Seafish from EWOS Innovation, the world's largest commercial knowledge centre for the aquaculture industry, where he was managing director.
