Skipper Alistair Bruce is now fishing prawns from Fraserburgh with the 15m twin-rig trawler New Dawn (FR 470) crewed by sons Martin and Charles Bruce, Charlie MacDonald and Lee Cameron.
New Dawn replaces Skipper Bruce's previous boat, Day Dawn FR 470, the hull of which was being cut up at Macduff in March when New Dawn was launched.
The new twin-rigger will fish four to five day trips to grounds within 150 miles of the Broch, including The Noup and Skate Hole, working through Caley Fisheries (Fraserburgh) Ltd.
