Buckie skipper Adam Innes, in partnership with his father Addie Innes, recently took delivery of Mizpah, a 10m vessel that gives a new meaning to inshore trawling, writes David Linkie.
Skipper Innes, who previously sailed on larger deepwater trawlers, including Westro and Endurance, started his new career by fishing the local Moray Firth grounds for prawns to familiarise himself with Mizpah BCK 611, before possibly moving down for the winter prawn season off NE England.
Delivered by the Peterhead based Northern Group, Mizpah is the first boat to be built in quayside premises at the UK's premier port for 24 years.
