Drønen Havfiske's Haugagut was delivered from Karstensens Shipyard just a year ago, but already the vessel has paid off for its owners.
The company posted revenues in 2015 of NOK 92 million (€10 million/$11.3 million) -- a rise of 14 percent from the year prior, thanks in large part to strong blue whiting prices.
Profit ended up down by around half to NOK 10 million (€1.1 million/$1.2 million), primarily because of maintenance and upgrades, Nils Arve Drønen, majority owner and CEO of Drønen Havfiske, told IntraFish Media sister publication FiskeribladetFiskaren.
